Elegance at its best; A modern destination wedding at Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico
“It was better than we’d ever imagined,” were the words of the bride at the end of her wedding day. Indira and Terrol’s wedding took place at Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico on May 29th, 2022.
I still remember the first time I met Indira and Terrol. We had an instant connection! It got very emotional very quickly; to the point that even some tears were shed at the end of the meeting. I was so excited to start planning their wedding weekend and I was sure the journey was going to be very fun.
After 7 months of intense planning, the big day had finally arrived!
Some guests traveled from the United States and others traveled all the way from Costa Rica, where part of the bride’s family currently lives. The groom, on the other hand, was born in Jamaica. So you can only begin to imagine what an epic party this wedding was.
The couple was staying at the luxurious O:LV Fifty five hotel, where preparations began early that Sunday morning. Meanwhile, everything was looking gorgeous at Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico where the wedding planner, Alexa Blanco and Floral Designer, Patricia Lorraine had every detail ready for the arrival of all the guests.
This wedding ceremony was nothing short of amazing. Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico is one of the most elegants and luxurious venues in the Island. A memorable moment was when the groom began to sing praise and worship while all the guests followed and sang along. This left all the vendors speechless as we listened to what sounded like a choir of angels. Everything was simply perfect.
Wedding cocktail an venue reveal
While their guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, Terrol and Indira were taken to the main Ballroom for their venue reveal. Indira was speechless. As tears began to fall down her cheeks, she couldn’t stop thanking the planning and design team for such wonderful work.
Great food, amazing music, surprises, and an epic party!
After 45 minutes of cocktails and photos, the party finally began. Ice cones (Piraguas) with liqueur, a delicious dinner, a fantastic DJ show, and some carnival stilt women were only a few of the key elements that made this celebration unforgettable.
